Next, making sure the lettering is the right way,
slide the band over the chick's three front toes.

To begin, lubricate the chick's foot and leg with a
water base lubricant (we used an antibiotic ointment).

If the back toe is caught,

Slide the band over the back toe to the ankle joint.
